Henna while Pregnant

Did you henna while pregnant?

Everyone- Does anyone know if it is safe to henna while pregnant? In the past I've left it on overnight and woke the next morning to find that my urine was green (similiar to the color of the henna). Should I just leave it on for a shorter period of time if it is safe? I don't want to pass anything on to the baby.

Most will say that henna is safe if you just leave it in for 4 to 6 hours and not overnight. It's also really important to make sure your henna is pure, body art quality, with nothing else mixed in. I can tell you for sure, that you don't want anything absorbing into your head and passing through your urine. That means it went all the way through your blood stream! Not good.

Other than that, I think you should ask your OB-Gyn. HTH Congrats on the pregnancy!
