Surprised So I was washing my hair Sunday night (11/14/2010)... After my first wash, I asked my Fiance to hand me a pair of scissors...

There u have it, cut it all of... I love it...
Once I finished my cutting, I had my Fiance cut my hair in places that I missed so it wouldn't be uneven.

I ran cool water over my head, and surprisingly Suspect My natural curls started coiling and defining themselves.... I loved it because I have never seen my hair at this natural state...

I had been natural since 2007, but I don't think I properly took care of my hair, because it wasn't growing and it wasn't curly....

But yes... I am in LOVE I love you with my naturally curly hair that I didn't think I had!!!

Congratulations on your BC. It's a wonderful feeling when you REALLY see your hair, isn't it? I transitioned for a very short time and after seeing my curls I couldn't wait to get the relaxed hair off... There will be no turning back now!

I got my last perm at the end of 2007... I have had bad luck with Beauty shops NOT doing my hair correctly... So I wore weaves for ever... July of 2010 was my last weave, I then decided to wear Lace Fronts, for 1: to give my poor tender scalp a rest, and for 2: I wanted to start wearing my own Natural hair... That's when I found this site!


Back when I was younger, I don't think parents had good knowledge on how to take care of Natural Black Hair... It was either: Your hair is nappy, pressed, or permed (Not by UR choice)...

But I just love it...

I had been Natural for 3 years, but since I have noticed my hair wasn't growing like it should and finding this site on top of it... I figured "why NOT start Over"...
