i big chopped~

it wasn't planned which, i think, was better for me anyway. my mother and i were just talking and she looked at my hair and was all, "you really want to cut it?" i've been pestering her that i want to cut it soon and she always says she going to kick me out and yada yada whenever i bring it up. so, for her, i said i would wait a few months until it was longer.

but today i said yes and she put it, but she didn't cut all the relaxer off. i looked like a crazy peach fuzz of a person, seriously. then she went to the supermarket for what seemed like hours..

then i began cutting myself.. i cut the front part down to my natural hair. and all through i was saying this mantra, "it's just hair. i won't cry over it, it's not worth it." it worked!

when she came back i just went right in and told her to cut it all off.. she was reluctant for a while but i pressured her and she did it for me! i was so excited to have my curls not weighed down by my stupid relaxed ends..

she twisted it for me, and my step-father was all, "you look like you have noodles popping out of your head." i catch them staring from time to time, especially my mother. you could say she loved my hair more than i did. Laughing

anywayyyy, i feel so good! people say they get all self-conscious and i can see where it comes from. i'm really ecstatic now, but who knows.. it might be tomorrow or two weeks from now before i look in the mirror and say.. what in the world have i done?!
