OMG i just big chopped!

Hello natural family, i just big chopped! after weeks and weeks of being scared to death of big chopping, i did it. i was worried about how my man might view me, but he said baby i can tell you really want to do this and you are way too beautiful for hair to take away from! so i got off my butt and just chopped. i want to cry but not for a bad reason but because im free, im me! and im still pretty. now ladies i need all the advice in the world! how to keep moisturized, how to make my curls pop, surprising my hair is quite curly...... so please give me all you know!

Welcome aboard! Definitely get in on the TWA thread and the CSJ threads. We've all posted regimens, product reviews, mixes, recipes and articles that will definitely be of use to you. I must say the SO was very sweet in his comments and support!! That's priceless!! Congrats on your BC and I must tell you the ladies in the TWA Growth section are FIERCE with their hair!! I have to get my game up so I can post some new hairstyles are keep up. LOL You will find lots of support and inspiration there.

Another note, you may notice that your twa is more dry than your relaxed hair. I noticed immediately after I BC'd. However, I live and die by the baggy overnight method. I use S-curl, Qhemet Biologics Cocoa Tree detangling Ghee and seal with Olive or Coconut oil. Works like a charm! You may have to experiment with what moisturizes, but a plastic cap followed by a satin cap will work wonders overnight for dry hair. In the morning, just finger fluff and go!

Karameldiva1978: thank you for the advice, i do have a question.... what all do i need to do to baggy? and do i do this every night? my hair is extremely dry, i was just thinking i have terrible hair, i was starting to become discouraged.
