I am sure that hubby would rather me buy hair products than clothes and shoes. I use to be a shoe fanatic. I would buy shoes even if I didn't have anything to wear with them, so he is overall pleased with me. The Darcy Botanicals haul will be the last thing that I try because I have tried everything up under the sun and back lol. Hopefully, it will work for my daughters hair as well as mine.

I haven't broken down yet. I'm going to wait until blk. Friday. I should have used all of my Jessicule WDT by then. I did get the DB Vanilla Styling cream because I had a coupon for curlmart: "fall15" which can be used until 10/31. My husband is trying to be patient with me as well. He keeps joking that I should get a perm, but he's only kidding.

I will throw something else out there-- she has a new creamy shea conditioner. When I saw shea, I was going to fast forward, but I saw a good review on it and the consistency and it was like a cream. Its $12, I think. Any one looking of a condish for between washes, this may be the one.

I tried to hold myself back but I ended up ordering the avocado and wild plum twisting cream (glycerin free), daily leave-in conditioner, deep conditioning mask, pumpkin seed moisturizing conditioner, and the coconut cupuacu butter hair pomade. I think that's it (sad I know) smh

TwistedKurlzz let us know how the avocado and wild plum twisting cream works for you. I was looking at this since its glycerin free and was thinking of adding it to my DB list.

@Renny, you ain't neva lied when it comes to DB's mask. I compare all other DC's to it. Many have come close but it is still my number one. I am always amazed how soft and yes, silky, my hair feels afterward.

I also love her daily leave in conditioner and hair milk. I plan to purchase many other items from her line in the next couple of months.

@krazy coils I will let everyone know how it works out. I hope that all of the products work out, because I would really hate to put them in my product graveyard.

Oooh Twisted. You filled a shopping cart. You're making my PJ want to shop. Oh, Lawd. I'm trying to hold off, but I'm going to have to get that leave-in. I love you

Chrs - I can't say I've tried alot, but I can't imagine too many products topping it. I have to get some for my mom too. She'll love it.

Hey ladies,

I received two of my products but the other ones will be here either tomorrow or Wednesday and I can't wait. Now I did use the pumpkin conditioner in my daughters hair and oh boy, it was like the flood gates of heaven had opened up. Her hair smelled good, it was soft, and very moisturized. I am trying to wait until my other products come this week before I use them in my hair. I will keep everyone posted when I do try them this week.

I am trying to wait on the other products but I may have to go ahead and try the wild plum and avocado cream and the pumpkin conditioner because I am ready to put my twists in since it's getting a lot cooler here now.

LadyDivah wrote:@ Renny-THANKS! i am going to order right now. I have 4a/b hair--what type do u have?

I have a mix of 4A and 3c. The back of my head from the end of the crown to the hairline is the 3C. It's very curly and compatible with any product. Anything will curl it, but I'm thinking it won't be fun for twist. The front and crown are 4A. I also think I have some 4b on the sides because I have to twirl it around itself to get it to curl. I'm not too good on the hairtyping thing. Anyways, the conditioner does a great job on all of it.

The Peach Kernal is very tempting. I am trying so hard to be good. I love peach scented products.

Okay, I could not wait for my other products to get here so I went ahead and started twisting my hair with the avocado and wild plum twisting cream and so far, I love it. It doesn't have a strong scent, it's very light and moisturizing in my hair. I am putting small two strand twists in my hair and when I finish, I will post pictures. I hope that I can finish them today, but we will see if I don't start getting lazy lol.

What is the consistency of the WPTC? I have the Vanilla Styling Cream and it's more like a thick butter. It works well on dry twists because it doesn't have water so you don't have to worry about shrinkage.

The consistency is a light cream mixture. It's not very thick at all, but it did well in my hair.
