Dang it, Twisted! Now I'm going to have to go get some of the twisting products! I have some stuff up for swap in the other forum, trying to get some Darcy's Leave-In or her twisting creams, but I guess everyone is holding on to it!

Your hair looks great! I've used her Madagascar Vanilla Styling Creme and the Coiling Curls Jelly - I love them both!

Thank you so much. I love all of the products that I ordered from Darcy's. I wanted to try the Madagascar and the Jelly so now I just may need to add them to the list lol. My Darcy's product junkyism is getting out of control lol. At least I know that the products do work great in my hair. I have finally found my staple product line. woot!

@krazy coils I still have a few more Darcy's that I want to try (sad I know) lol. Hopefully, you can get it at their etsy shop. I know that curlmart has their Avocado and Honey Twisting Cream and a few more of their products.

Not to be a pusher or anything KC, but it is available on her etsy shop...I think I'm going to order it lol. http://www.etsy.com/listing/58979502/avocado-and-wild-plum-twisting-cream

Has anyone used Darcy's Botanicals Curling Jelly for a wash-n-go? I just bought some this weekend and would like to know what to use underneath and if there's a good application method.

Normally, I just section my hair into 6 - 8 sections and finger comb the product though. Any suggestions ladies?

Thanks!

@ Takeya- I have used it over the DB Lemongrass Transitioning Cream, KCKT and Giovanni Direct Leave it with out any problems. I usually shingle with small sections, but it's pretty user friendly so I would try the 6-8 sections first. You can always apply more later if needed.

I am happy to invite you to the formal ceremony joining Sasha and Darcy Botanical Deep conditioner for life! This is a partnership made in heaven.

Omg I am so gased up. When I tell you Sasha laid down and paid attention! I love the consistency, I love the scent and the performance oh sweet Jesus! Can I tell you all that in the pictures Below I have no leave in conditioner. I used the sample of the curl styling stuff. I twisted in medium sized twists, took them down this morning and Bam!

OMG! I mean, your hair is always the hotness, but this...I have no words. Please don't make me take my twist out and wash my hair in the 23 degree weather. Your hair looks amazing. DB is the truth. After that DC I'd try anything she made.

@Sweetdark

You know what I was doing at 2 am right? Retwisting my hair and using the Darcy's. I used the daily leave-in, the curl leave-in and the the curl leave-in with the curl gel. I used different combos on different parts of my head. My hair ain't never looked this good and this is just some retwisting. Not even fresh hair. I'm in love. And the good news is I know to do it on dry hair already, cause the curl definition and shine is amazing.

I don't think you need a leave-in conditioner with that curl styling stuff. It's so moisturizing.

Okay, I'm convinced. I will be treating myself to DB after Christmas. This will be my first 'extreme purchase'. I say extreme because I've been buying lesser priced products.

Ladies, what should I purchase first? I don't want to give up my Giovanni poo & condish. I do however need a great 'twisting product'. Suggestions?

Oh no, we got Umph. Don't be a PJ. If you like what your using...let me stop. Misery loves company. What are you currently twisting with? I read it before but I forgot where.

Lol at Renny at 2am! I retwisted and I am loving the fact that it maintains my massive shrinkage!

I was using Cantu Shea Butter leave in; recently switched to Crème of Nature Lemongrass??? leave in. I just love the Giavonni poo & cond so I won't be changing those. The mentioned leave ins only give me 2-3 day hair... I need to prolong the process!

I love my Giovanni Direct Leave-In too. Can't say I've had luck with the two Giovanni shampoos I tried. So if you can twist with a conditioner you might want to try her Daily Leave-In or the new Curl Styling Gel. I'm noticing the twist I did with the leave-in don't have as much hold, so try the Curl Styling Gel (it says gel, but it's not gelly like), so maybe the gel if she's selling it. It's new so I don't know if it's for sale.

I am loving my hair. I can't believe it's hanging down. It's never hung down. I have to try it on freshly washed and twisted hair and see if I can get at least three day so the jury is still out for me.

I was so interested in this product I went & purchased some today I am a firm beliver in UFD Extra Butter but its a bit pricey($24) so I decided to do some research on Darcy's Botanicals & see if she had any products that would work with my 4b-c hair I just took down a twist today so I havent had the chance to try it out yet but I will in the next two wks or so I purchased the Avocado & Wild Plum twisting cream (glycerin free) & the Coconut & Cupuacu Butter Natural Hair Pomade ($12.99 each)
If you live in the Triad area in North Carolina you can purchase this from Four Seasons Mall @ The African American Art Store

Okay as I read these posts it is persuading me to get DB's deep condish mask. I dont really have a deep condish right now. Which is a shame with the winter months. But I'm new to the game. Still learning. I'm still looking for a shampoo thgh.

LaNatural - I'm originally from NJ. Grew up a mile from the beach in Asbury Park.

The Darcy's is good stuff, but I also like ORS Replenishing Pak for my protien DC. They are not in the same neighborhood in terms of quality, but before I purchased the DB I was happy with the ORS. I have fine hair and need to get some protein in for my DC. My hair loves protein, so I'll be alternating between the Darcy's and ORS until the ORS runs out and then I may go ahead and try Nexxus. I used to use it and loved it. Kertain is great for my hair. I'm saying all that to say Darcy's doesn't have protein in it. Talk about the long rode.

I miss NJ. I mean, not right now cause y'all 'bout to get some snow, but nothing like the north east. Good food (real pizza, good Chinese cooked by Chinese people, good Sushi, good Jamaican - can you tell I miss the food?), the beach and are clothes still tax free????????? Uh, I miss Jersey. Sad
