Adding Pre-Poo to my hair regimen
My hair dries very easily and with winter just around the corner, I do not want my hair looking like carrot top Anyhow, I have been reading other forums (and of course this one everyday) to find a pre-poo recipe that will help lock in more moisture and keep it shiny and healthy. Does any of you pre-poo? if so, what is your regimen? Thanks.

Re: Adding Pre-Poo to my hair regimen
I pre-pooed for the first time a few days ago. It left my hair feeling moisturized even after i washed it out and made detangling a lot easier. Since it was my first time I didn't really have an actual regimen. All I did was massage some olive oil into my scalp and hair, then I covered my hair with a plastic cap and towel to lock in heat. I left it in for a little over an hour.
I think I might pre-poo more often during the winter. You should definitely try it and add some of your own oils/conditioners!

Re: Adding Pre-Poo to my hair regimen
I pre-poo with oils b4 and conditioners.. Since transitioning conditioners seem to work better for me.. I use to pre-poo with Auyverda Powders and conditioners and it left my hair so soft and easy to handle.. Like Butterfly26 stated it does help with detangling.
You can mix what you like to get a moisturizing pre-poo.
Find a moisturizing conditioner (does not have to be expensive)
Mix it with Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil. Hemp Seed oil or Coconut Oil the list goes on..
Aloe Vera Juice just that this may thin your conditioner out a little bit.
Honey is also good it acts as a humectant gives added moisture to your hair.
These are just a few things you can add to your pre-poo mix.
