?'s for my FL naturals Empty ?'s for my FL naturals

Post by cluelesscurl 7th October 2010, 1:24 pm

I notice how alot of naturals are changing their routine due to winter approaching. Being that I'm in FL I don't remember changing my regimen as much. It gets a bit chilly from time to time but doesn't last long enough to make a change. The wheather here is a trip. Is anyone from FL changing thier routine. If so, what are doing differently. Thanks in advance.

i'm in Gainesville (GO GATORS!) & although its not really cold yet, it is less humid outside. I noticed that both my skin & hair seem to get dry more quickly. So, i'm sealing every other day (instead of only 2x a week) and considering only shampooing every 2 weeks (instead of once per week). what's everyone else doing?

I live in the Tampa Bay area and I am switching it up a bit. I used to do a lot of wngs and wet buns but my hair takes a day to dry and that's not cute in 60, 50 or even 40 degree weather. Which BTW last winter it was. So I moisturize more and I plan to roller set, flat iron and diffuse then wear protective styles such as buns and up do's.

i'm in the fortlauderdale area. I dont plan on changing much except using a really heavy leave-in and/or styling aid and moisturizing more. i'm going to TRY to wear twists more often but i really ont like twits, i prefer to wear my hair out.

i will be pre pooing and/o deep conditioning with added castor oil or honey (they are humectants) more often. i will continue sealing on the daily, esp with hair in twists
