Do you jock your own curls?

For the past month I have taken significant blocks of time to simply admire my curls. I admit that I have fallen head over heels in love with my curls. I play with them, look at them, inspect their pattern, feel the softness that they hold. I love my curls. They are so beautiful and each has its own individuality. The length and coiliness of them blow my mind every day. They give me the warm and fuzzies. Aww just beautiful...

I told my friend that I love my curls and she told me I was jocking my curls. ha haha

Does anyone else feel like I do?

yeah, me, too!!!! i can't get enough of my hair!!! i re-fallen in love with them everyday!! is amazing!!!

Hahahaha...I was straight "jockin' my curls" this morning on my way to church! LOL! Was looking in the mirror like yeeeeeaaaahhh, the curls are on point today! LOL!

But hey, we all should "jock" our curls...we put in good work to make those curls "do what it do", so why not???

This thread is cute. On a really good hair day, I can't stay out of my hair or the mirror. Even when I'm in the car at a red light/ stop sign, I take a few moments to admire my hair one more time.

I often find myself admiring people with hair very similar to mine. It's only after the fact that I'm like "Hey, that's how MY hair looks." Lol. So I guess that's a form of self-admiration

I love looking at my hair... Its fabulous just like me!! lol

You're talking about "jocking". Girl, I will be in my car and can't stay out of the rear view mirror. Or better yet, open the sunroof to get a better look. I really enjoy the beauty of simplicity. I have been henna-ing (?) my hair for about 3 months now, and you're talking about falling in love with hair. Shucks! This is what love really feels like.

lovely ur twa is hot! im playin in my curls now, lol. i unravel them and find myself twisting em while driving. matter of fact, im sittin here at work and all i can think of is how i cant wait to get home to wash my hair in the shower! shooot u talkin bout jockin...im stalkin my curls!

@ Nubie....Thanks for the compliment. I know you love your TWA.....super cute. I can't keep my hands out of mine. I will sit and twist the twists that are already there. I guess I have that "hand in hair" syndrome. LOL

@ Marche', I agree this thread is cute.........When I say that I can not keep my hands out of curls, that is an understatement...I'm jockin' my curls for real!!!! And I love it!!!!

well I must say when I use to straighten my hair I never got compliments on my everyday pony tail. But now that I wear my hair natual I get plenty of compliments and Im always looking at my twist and how each individual curl up all the time I love it. yeah, and that's part of a reason why i like to keep my hair in twists: to stop playing in them. i even play in the roots when my hair is in twists

I must admit, I'm a jocker too!!!!!!! Can't stay out of the mirror and can't keep my hands out of my hair.

me 2.. i be jock'n especially after a bantu knot-out that has no frizz ..i must admit i always feel the need to have my own lil photo shoot with my phone..a bit much?!?im just saying lol

I, Brittany, am a curl junkie and I am obsessed with jocking my curls!!!! And I'm proud of it too

Even when my hair is in twists I still twirl the ends around my fingers. And don't let my hair be extra soft cuz then I can't keep my hands away! My hair really does make me feel warm and fuzzy inside and flyy and fabulous on the outside!

I was a hair twirling when I was relaxed as well but it's nothing compared to twirling my curls cuz that's a never-ending affair

Yes. I jock my curls. It is ridiculous! Two years ago, I would have never thought that I would be here. It feels good!
