Sealing a TWA Empty Sealing a TWA

Post by gmAKA1709 27th September 2010, 10:35 pm

Hey ladies,

I'm having a hard time figuring out how to moisturize/seal my dry twa without causing tons of frizz. My hair isn't quite long enough to section off yet so I'm sort of at a loss. I hear people talking about how important it is to seal your hair daily and especially after you moisturize but I just can't seem to figure it out... confused

Thoughts? scratch

Hi gmAKA1709, I have never had a TWA but I did have an idea. I know most people seal with an oil that they rub onto the hair. Since you have a TWA and are concerned about frizz, I would try putting my oil in a spray bottle and spraying it onto your hair so you dont really have to rub the hair, hence taking the chance at creating frizz.

Hope this helps some.

That's what I was going to say. I just saw a thread yesterday about oil sprayers and I want to get for myself also (less messy application).

yea i agree the less you touch your hair the less frizz you will have..

this is how I seal my TWA:
after i cowash I add a good amount of KCKT
then i seal with cocont oil/EVOO
In the morning I spray my hair with water, add a lil more KCKT, then add a small amount of KCCC to define my hair

Through out the day I moisture my hair with shea moisture hold and shine moisture mist..this usually keeps my hair soft and moisturized throughout the day
