YAY! My boss just called and said that we don't have to come to work today because of the weather. Now I can watch the movie I rented, "Eat, Pray, and....something or other (I forgot) with Julia Roberts and read my book The Great Gatsby. I need to go to the grocery store before the weather gets too bad. We hardly have anything in the house. But I really don't feel like leaving the house. I'm so comfortable right now.

Charlotte airport shut down. So instead of getting off at 10, I didn't leave the hotel until almost 1. Every good hotel in Charlotte became swamped in less than 20 mins. Long night. and it doesn't help that most restaurants are closed for the stranded traveler.

Oh yes, thank you Mommy for saying my hairstyle looks a little "aunt jemima". I like my "headband braid" thingy. I <3 you too mommy, lol.

the south gets a lil bit of snow and dont know how to act!! Everything was closed today, and the roads were horrible! BUT due to "inclement weather" there is no classes 2morrow for me!!!

another day to sleep in and enjoy!!

To the smokers in my immediate vicinity: PLEASE stop complaining about how cold it is outside when you run outside every hour, on the hour, to smoke! It is really starting to grate my nerves! If you stayed your butt inside the building like the rest of us you wouldn't have to face the elements and you might actually get some work done!
