Twist outs will not last Empty Twist outs will not last

Post by tisiag 3rd September 2010, 5:53 pm

Hello

I love twist outs but after I go to bed they look horrible and dry and the front losing its shape. Should I retwist at night or use different products will give me a greater hold and if so which ones?

Help!!!

I usually can wear my twist out 2 days before I moisturize/retwist at night. What do you twist your hair with now? I use a butter/gel combo.

If I use a hair milk to twist it, then I end up having to retwist every night.

I hope this helps.

Garnier Fructis Surf Hair gives great definition and hold. I add a castor oil for added moisture.

Love the profile pic! Your hair looks great! Do you use the butter/gel combo on dry hair or do you twist when wet? I may have to try this combo!
Thanks!

I just did my 1st twist out. I used organic root stimulator lock & twist gel. I have defined twists and they are looking better on day 2.......... Smile

I use LA curl Activator and my shea butter mixture. I usually retwist every night any way, in much larger twists just to keep the shape. and it lasts usually a few days. (I co-wash every two days.)
