Airdrying transitioning hair
ok so I'm a little past 6 months into my transition. My hair is 4b. So far, I've been blow drying when I wash my hair. I'm trying to wash my hair once a week now and I don't want to blow dry it every week. What is the best way to blow dry transitioning 4b hair? What steps should I take? I've heard that you should do it in rollers and if you air dry in a ponytail/bun it will get tangled but I don't know. btw I mostly bun because I SUCK at doing any other styles...

Re: Airdrying transitioning hair
I usually just let my hair air dry in braids. Once I apply my leave in and seal, I braid it into a few sections and go on about my day until it's damp the way I like it for styling. HTH!

I also let my hair air dry in braids or twists. Right now they are in twists since I just washed my hair last night.

When I was transitioning I just let my hair air dry in cornrows or flat twist, it all depended on how I was going to style my hair. I've even tried letting it air dry freely like a wash n go. All of them worked for me.
