There are so many brands out there that I don't want to become an eyeshadow junkie trying them all. Any recommendations?

I love the NYX eyeshadows. They are just as pigmented as MAC eyeshadows but cost a lot less. You can find them at Ulta and Cherryculture.com

I went to Ulta this past weekend and purchased a pencil by NYX and can't get that thing to leave a mark.

I like Stila and Urban Decay. I have a palette from each. The colors are vibrant and long lasting.

For something inexpensive but nice I would recommend Covergirl shadows you can find them at Target, Drugstrores etc ust use a good primer with them for longer staying power and their price range is from $3 to $5. and the $5 is for a quad.

Loreal HIP is really good and pigmented, works like MAC but at a much cheaper price. Primer really isn't necessary but you can use it for a more vibrant look. It last all day too. Another good cheapy eyeshadow is by LA Colors. It can be found in Family Dollar, Dollar Tree, and other dollar stores.
