Hey everyone! If you have an E-reader please let me know which one and what you like/dislike about it.. I'm about to be in the market for one and I don't know which one to get. Any input you may have is appreciated! Cool

No one has or likes the Nook? From what I've read it's sort of going the way of a hybrid reader and tab. You can have your books, but also send and receive e-mail, check FB, etc.

Can the Kindle do that too?

The reason I don't like the Nook is because it isn't really an e-reader. It's heading in the way of the IPAD. If I wanted an Ipad, I'd buy one. I wanted something that is just for reading and that mimicks a book.

Oh, and see, I like the idea that the Nook has the added functionality.

I also have a Kindle and LOVE it. I've had mine now for 2 years and it's one of the best gifts that I've received. I like that it's easy to use, stores tons of books, plus with Amazon, you can search for books by price, anywhere from $0.00 (that's right zero) on up to $15.00+. Plus, if I want to remove a book from my kindle I can do that but it's stored somehow in my Amazon account so that if I want to download it to my Kindle again, I can and there's no additional charge.

For email, FB, etc., if I'm on the go, that's what I have my smartphone for.

I have the nook color and I'm loving every minute with it. The screen is just right and responds beautifully. Love the fact that I can surf the net using wifi in between books. And the lendme program is great. Overall its wonderful.

Thanks for your input ajsimmons8 and Just Ashley.. I'm hoping more folks will also chime in. I've also checked out Cnet for reviews but I'd rather hear from the forum.
