crunchy hair from co washing

hi every1. i have been cowashing my hair more than before. it's so hot here right now that wetting my hair everyday feels great anyway...but i have noticed after cowashing and leaving in conditoner (like teri la flesh reccomends) when my curls dry they look ok but they feel CRUNCHY! i can't handle that! h.e. dangerously straight (the WORST), loreal high gloss, and even my trusted giovanni smooth as silk have all given the crunchiness. i have a sample of the new no frizz product and it did not have that affect but it's expensive!
any1 else experience this?

You may have product build up. Have you tried to clarify with an ACV rinse or a clarifying shampoo?

apple cider vinegar sounds good! i only used it for dandruff (which has not returned since!) but that would make sense thank you so much!

Yes it sounds like buildup. I use Suave Clarifying shampoo. I only clarify maybe once a month. You sound like you need a little more than that. It's only maybe a dollar.

Be careful with that apple cider vinegar. Too much acid is bad for the hair
