What did you buy...July 2010?

Ok.... I get paid in a few hours and I feel my pjism kicking in.... I'm looking for a good leave in conditioner any suggestions?

So far this month, I've bought some Jamaican Mango and Lime Loc and Twist Gel, Unrefined Shea Butter, Mega Care Shea Butter Oil, Organics Texture My Way Curl Keeper Moisturizing Lotion (never tried it before), and some black Eco Styler Gel. I plan to box up some of my many hair products this weekend to make room for my new products. LOL.

@ curlybarbi48 let me know how that Jamaican Mango and Lime loc and twist gel works for you, the first time i used it for twists it left my hair feeling really greasy for days.

This month i have purchased: HEHH; Curls Curl Creme Brule; Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hold & Shine Moisture Mist; Yes to Carrots Shampoo and Conditioner

I'm out of conditioner and leave-in so I'll be stopping by shopping this weekend. I'm thinkin of trying the giovanni line since aubrey organics and I aren't agreeing. Hopefully, I'll just stick to my list, hehe.

My shopping trip was successful.
Giovanni Direct leave-in, it was on sale at whole foods (it might replace my KCKT)
Aubrey Organics White Camilla Conditioner (there was no Honeysuckle Rose) it worked alright but I need a heavier deep conditioner because my hair drinks it up. After two hours of sitting on my hair it was completely absorbed and my hair was somewhat. [/list]

Flax seeds (I'm going to try to make a gel I saw on youtube)
Aubrey Swimming shapoo and conditioner (It was on sale for like $6!)

Lemon juice
Vitamin E oil
Aloe Vera Juice

And I think that's enough!!

Oh wait! I bought an electric mixer because I want to try to make some whipped shea butter (also saw the reciepe on youtube)

I bought ONE bottle of conditioner: my former staple, Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner. While I have sworn off a lot of store bought products due to the amount of chemicals in them, I've decided to revisit this just to see how my hair responds to it now that I've learned how to treat my hair better.

Yes. Enough! You are a major PJ. Do you remember who did the whipped shea butter video. I'd like to whip up some. I might like using it more that way. Right now I'm not thrilled.

I'm loving Giovanni Direct Leave-In, but I left Yes to Cukes in last weekend and liked that too. So far those are my favorites.

I got the Strawberry Butter (new scent) package from peaceloveandsunshine. It comes with an 8oz and 4oz Coconut confidence and and 8oz Cutie Juice.

I've used Jamaican Mango and Lime Gel before and I've never had a problem with it being greasy. My routine:

Co-wash with any cheap conditioner.
Put EO Essentials Lemongrass Conditioner in as a leave-in.
Use a little moisturizer (I use Organikah Hair Butter).
Then I'll use a generous amount of EVCO.
I either let my hair air dry (not all the way dry), or I put it in a few big braids and let it almost air dry.
I then twist my hair, using a little dab of the JM&L gel on each twist. I get great results each time. The only thing I don't like is that my fingers turn orange in the process.

3 packs of Hair clips(6) from Walgreens...They had a bin of accessories 1.00 each.

Aloe Vera Juice, Jojoba oil and castor oil for kimmaytube's mixture

I just bought a cheapie conditioner today (Aussie Moist).

ORS Lock and Twist Gel.

I havent gone overboard..lol. I recently colored my hair so i bought:
-Loreal Everpure Moisture Shampoo for Color treated hair & the Conditioner
so far i love the shampoo, my hair feels great after a wash. not too crazy about the conditioner, not enough slip. They smell good though.
