New Hair do

Hey lady...where ya at?

I was just thinking the same thing^

I've been MIA. There is so much stuff going on in my personal life, with my friends and with my work that I am in shut down mode. I'm not sleeping and not really eating much. I know it's bad cuz everyone at work keeps asking me what's wrong and I just tell them nothing. I almost never show what I'm going through on my face. I'm angry, sad, disappointed, frustrated..... and any other word you can think of. I don't want to talk about it. I'm sick of crying. I can't even calm my spirit enough to pray. Thought I'd pop in for a second. Don't know when I'll be back.

I'll be praying for you!!

I thought about you this morning and said a prayer for better days for you. Just remember, when we can't pray for ourselves, the Holy Spirit is interceding on our behalf-and he definitely knows what's best. Hoping that your storm will soon pass,

Father, I pray for my sister right now. I am praying for peace, joy and complete restoration in her spirit. Remind her, Father, that You will be for her what David said You are in Psalm 3:3 - The One who lifts her head. Allow her to place on you every care, concern and weight that may hold her down. Restore her joy and peace, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers, thoughts and encouragement. I'm starting to feel a little better about it all. THANK YOU ALL! You don't know how much that meant to me. Work is still interesting and we'll see what will happen. I'm learning about who my true friends are and I think that's a blessing. Had to evalute the relationship with my bf and think about if it's going in the direction I would like it to go. I'm turning 30 next month and I don't want to start the next decade of my life pulling my hair out!! I know God has things in store for me. I know that things happen for a reason and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. I know that I am more than a conqueror in Christ. I know that even though there may be a thorn in my flesh God's grace is sufficient and the thorn can stay because God will see me through. I'm trying... that's all I can say.

In hair news I had the cutest style last week but I didn't take any pictures cuz I wasn't feeling to photogenic. Right now my hair is in coils and it's growing! I think I'll be able to twist it in like a month.

I've been playing with my make up kits and loving what I've been doing. I've been asked to do my friend's make up for her wedding. I've also been asked by a few people at work to give some make up tutorials. Might really take my love of make up into a side hustle.....

But I truly want to thank everyone for their encouragement. I'm going to therapy today and I'm going to try to make it to the church house this Sunday..... Thank you all!

Hey Red!! glad ur feelin better n i understand when u need to back away for time to self. i was sittin in the tub the other night re-evaluating my life cuz im approachin 30 in Jan **gasp** i cant believe i said that number out loud but yea i guess with age comes lack of patience n i just aint got time for foolishness these days. im just now gettin around to learning to forgive folks who've done me wrong becuz in the end...this battles not urs ya know. when people show u who they are, believe em the first time (maya angelou)

i cant wait to see more makeup tut's and yes...that side hustle aint a bad idea...any hustle for that matter!

Hey Red so glad to hear an update from you. I was actually excited to be turning 30 cause my twenties were full of ups and downs. But God saw me through it that at 32 I look at those growing pains (thorns and all) in my past as a blessing. Work that side hustle. I am starting to work on mine as well, just that there are so much demand for mine that i have so little time to create being that I work full time. still keeping you in my prayers.

So happy to hear from you! Glad you are getting through this! Remember God's grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect in your weakness!!
