Are they shed hairs or breakage?

If they are shed hairs then you are probably just a heavy shedder(like me). But if it is breakage you will have to determine the cause of the breakage so that you can address the issue.

I had this problem a few weeks ago. I started to DC once a week and now I don't see as much hair coming out as I used to.

Thanks you guys...i believe it's shedding because the strands are pretty long. I just did my first DC this morning(1st one in yrs; sad but true). I know my hair is really dry so I will continue that. I could be a heavy shedder though...better that than breakage.

Try black tea rinses. They helped me tremendously and cut my shedding in half
