That's right, those ends are gone! Here are a couple of pics

Here's how much I cut off:

The Fro from the side (that middle part that looks flat has RIDICULOUS shrinkage, even compared to the rest of it. Out of control. So my hair is actually pretty even, it's just getting those curls to stick out isn't easy. LOL

So I don't regret cutting my hair at all, I thought I'd be more worried about the length, but I'm happy with it considering it's only been a year, and now I can try all sorts of new stuff with my hair, and best of all I don't have to deal with those permed ends!

LOL, I thought it would have been brave to have someone else do it. . . I didn't want TOO much to get cut off, I think I caught a centimeter of one or two curls, but other than that I was on point Smile Thanks!

i maen, how did you hold a mirror to see the back and hold scissors to cut the back? or did you just hold scissors and tell by the feel of it where to cut?

For some of it I had to feel and guess, but mostly I'd find where I thought it was then turn my head so I could see the piece I was holding to be sure. The only place I had a problem doing that was the middle of the bottom, but I got those stowaways yesterday while I was twisting Smile It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Overall I parted my hair into 4 sections, then took smaller sections of that and cut, I wasn't in a rush so there were times when I'd only get one clump and cut to be sure I was just getting the straight parts.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad I decided to BC instead of just trim and grow. I don't think I should have done it any sooner though because I think I would have regretted it, that's why I made myself wait until I hit a year. LOL I wish I'd started transitioning earlier though Smile
