BC'd yesterday

Ahh, I finally did it. I BC'd yesterday, but opted to get coils
instead of exploring the feel of the afro right now. I'm satisfied! I
like it and so does the hubby which was important to me, but he was very
supportive the entire time and when I began to get frustrated with
transitioning he told me to cut it off and if I didn't like it to get a
wig (lol, I've never worn a wig in my life) or to get braids so that
support was a big help. My last relaxer was sometime in September of
last year and during that time I just wore rod sets and never paid any
attention to the fact that I hadn't had a relaxer until it was about two
or three months into it and I said okay, I guess I'll go natural.
Anyway, I am satisfied with my results and can't wait to undo the coils
so I can wear it curly then I'll wash it and try the fro. Having great
support from my husband really did make a big difference in the
confidence that I have to wear my hair natural now.
