Re: Dry/Itchy Scalp
When my scalp is itchy, I take some apple cider vinegar (ACV) and apply it to my scalp in sections with an applicator brush or cotton ball. I let it sit for about 20 mins. before I shampoo/cowash. It's supposed to kill any bacteria/fungus and build up on your scalp. I notice immediate results. You may also want to check the ingredients in your shampoo-sulfates are known to cause itchy scalp.

Do you dilute the ACV before applying?

Re: Dry/Itchy Scalp
i dilute mine. . .for ever cup of ACV i add 2 cups of water and i add it to my pre poo. . .so i put the conditioner in my hair then i apply the ACV directly to my scalp and rub it in (i keep it in an old water bottle with a spout). I then sit with a plastic cap on for about a half hr. When im ready i rinse and (co)wash as norrmal

@ Tiffers-No, I don't dilute it. I have diluted it before and used it as a final rinse, but it was not as effective. Check out www.motowngirl.com She has lots of homemade recipes and instructions for acv rinses.
