itchy scalp

so I been dealing with dry scalp pretty much all my life and I finally got rid of it as of last yr. Now that I got rid of it my scalp is itching more then ever. I been co washing since my BC which was march 23, 2010 in which that helps keep my hair soft. I really don't know what product is having my scalp itch. anyone have this problem? is there any product out there to help this?

My scalp itches like crazy when it hits a growth spurt. Maybe your hair is growing!

Someone else told me that and i thought it was crazy maybe you right

so I think I figured it out my scalp while my hair is well moisturized. how do i cahanged that? I put oil on my scalp at least once a day. my hair keeps the moisture but my scalp about 6 hrs later is dry and white.

My scalp itches also when my hair is growing. I'll use a combo mix of Tea Tree Oil/Jojoba oil to calm the itches. Not sure if it will work for you because first you have to find out exactly what it causing the itchies (growth spurt or some other issue).

thanks peachtree i try that. when my friend said a growth spur i look at her like huh. now that I did not research today I see that itching happens to alot of people when thier hair is growing.
