Dandruff Help! Empty Dandruff Help!

Post by sundance_13 12th November 2009, 1:21 am

Hi!
I am newly transitioning and I just wanted to know for all you natural ladies with the curse of dandruff, what do you use to get rid of it? I used to use sulfur 8 dandruff shampoo which worked very well, but lately have been reading some things about this product and how harsh it is for your hair. Any suggestions?

Try using neem powder to make a paste and apply directly to your scalp. You can buy neem at your local Indian grocer or online. Good luck!

My mom used to use eucalyptus and tea tree oil mixed with Olive oil on us when we were little, but from time to time now, I just use tea tree oil in a little conditioner.

I have been using a few drops of peppermint essential oil mixed with lavender essential oil and I have seen a big difference. It smells really good (my entire room and anywhere I go smells like peppermint lol) and gives you a nice tingly feeling!
