Girl, I know! I don't get done up for work hardly anymore. My thing now is a little mascara, gloss and blush and I'm out the door. I preserve my dolled up face for the weekends. I need to go and check out what you divas are up to! I miss that thread!

Thank you for the compliment. I haven't really had my hair shaped only trimmed so i guess it grows like this. Also I wear the back of my hair pinned up a lot.

even though u do medium size twist they still look full, how do u part? i loooove it. im thinkin of goin back some ps styles myself cuz its just too cold to be doin anything. i love wearing my hair out but now its startin to get harder to maintain the moisture and its feelin hard n crunchy PLUS i know this is my shedding cycle

Hey Nubie,

The only section of my hair I parted was the top with the center part. The rest I just section with my fingers, I just make sure there is not too much hair in each section before twisting. I only part my hair if I'm doing flat twists. If you still have your Qhemets you may want to grab that to help with the moisture. That is the only thing I'm using right now because the weather is too cold!

Ok, I'm really new to the forums. I just have to say that I LOVE your twists. When I do mine, they look all jacked up. lol. You inspire me to keep practicing. I my hair looked like your avi, I'd never take my twists down.
How do you get them to lay down. When I sleep, I wake up w/twists pointing every direction. Any advice?

I would highly recommend trying them in January when the store opens again! Girl there is nothing wrong with your twists and your hair always looks great!

Hey djohnson and thank you for the complimet. I always tie my twists down with a satin scarf at night to keep them in place and sometimes I place a bonnet on top of the scarf in case the scarf comes off during the night. The key for me is the scarf because it holds them down. In the morning I fluff with a moisturizer and spray with a spritz. HTH
