deep treatments help

okay ive been natural for over a year and i use avacado on my hair as a deep treatment once a month i like it very much it gives me shine and softne. is there anything else i can use as a home remidy to put on my hair. the avacado gets a little messy and sometimes i dont like to do because of that reason. i notice that a lot of people do it once a week is it possible for me to do it with my twist.

I have wash and conditioned my hair while in twists. Just be careful that you don't have the type of hair that has the tendency to lock fast. It might be a not so great idea to condition in twists if that is case.
