I twisted my hair yesterday and plan on leaving it for at least one week! Wish I had come upon this thread sooner

I want to join in on this challenge so bad. I just become intimidated on wearing my twists outside of the house because my hair is twa. I only have 3inches.

i slacked off this last week guys [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . my hair was so moisturized from kbb last week that i showed off n wore it in my last twist out tues. well guess what...lesson learned becuz it stays moisturized more when its twisted vs wearin it out. i get a good 2 days of moisture with wearing it out and thats cuz no matter what i spritz my water n oil mix soon as i wake up n before i go to bed but im dreading wash day now cuz i KNOW me n biance gonna be karate kickin each other.

i retwisted every other night but got lazy last night (didnt feel good) and the first night i untwisted so now the back of my head is startin to look like bob marleys edges [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] too dmn frizzy!!

my plan was to stay twisted for my work week so i can confess...i cheated this week!! i'll get back on track mon for wash day and twist my hair while i work that night wit my qhemet!!

oh and missmo...dnt be scared, i started twisting wit less than 3 inches (by accident) and im still workin on perfecting them, esp the back!

A couple weeks ago I asked for some advice on wearing my hair twisted or out to meet for dinner w/ my ex....The end result was a twist out! The pic is after dinner w/ sum sorors...
He hasnt stopped texting/calling & he broke up w/ me! hehehe
I worked hard on it! (ie pre poo, co wash, dc, lightly blow dry w/ heat protectant and 6 flat twists like CurlyChronicles) Thanks for the advice ladies!!!!!!

Hello ladies, I just twisted my hair on yesterday. If it is not too late to join this twist challenge I'm all in [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . I plan on keeping the twists in for a week @ a time. Taking them down only on the wknds (wash and condition), then retwist again. I've been completely natural "BC'd" since 3/13/2010, 9 months of transitioning and need to keep my hands out of my hair. I am so incredibly grateful to this challenge, I just did a hair length check, I got 1/2 in overall since I started the challenge. I have been journaling, my first week completed in the challenge started 4/13/10. My front I grew a 'lil over a 1/2 inch.

Low manipulation is key, and really it's not the growth because that's average, it's retaining it, my hair feels so strong my ends have never been this healthy and full, I know I will keep growing and retaining with using twist as my main style.

I am doing my 6th set today, I will be using my KCCC method. Since I got mad def and I will be rocking it to see Jill and Maxwell this friday !!!!

I will do my kinky twist shortly after this, I love my hair so much I have to show it off at the concert.

@agore07...this challenge is very healthy for the hair! AND OMG they are starting the tour already? Have a blast and take pics!!!
