Curl Street is so busy that I haven't been over to your house in awhile!!! So even though this is super late, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!! woot!

It sounds like you've had an awesome time in Orlando. You're really making me wanna go. Might have to do a road trip cuz it would be a little cheaper than flying. Plus road trips are fun! cheers

I might go to Florida JUST to find some SheaMoisture products!!! Can't seem to find them in SoCal ...

I'm not sure if you found a water-based leave in (for the water, oil, cream) but I use Aussie moist Hair Insurance, Oil and a shea butter of some sort.

Hey!!! I'm doing good, going back to Texas in the morning Sad

This vacay was awesome though!! But my hair spa sucked because none of those curls products worked and I didn't like the SheaMoisture Deep treatment Sad

I ended up wearing my curly wig and I felt like I was cheating on my hair the rest of the day Sad

My hair just looked bad

That escalator was just so exciting to me lol. I felt like a little kid this entire trip. Like I told PS the two products didn't really work for me. I mean they didn't work "badly" I've just gotten much better results from cheaper products so I took them all back lol. I'll probably do a review when I get back home.

Thank you!!! I have found a leave-in. I love the Giovanni Direct Leave-In and I just bought the Kinky Curly Knot Today as well as the Curling Custard so I'm pretty excited to use it.
As for the Aussie Hair Insurance, it seems like everytime I see it on an aisle, I pick it up, read the ingredients, and put it back, and then stand there for a few seconds contemplating and then finally walking away lol. If I remember correctly there's protein in it and that's why I keep putting it back lol.

So I've FINALLY started and finished a set of twists on my hair, and I must say I'm pretty pleased. The back didn't come out how I liked at all but I couldn't see because I only had one mirror so what can you do?? lol I've been wearing a tam the past 2days anyway so all is well. I intended on just flat twisting the sides and doing a frohawk but the middle was not cooperating with me, it's grown so much that it's at a weird length now so yeah, I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I threw in 2 strand twists for a bang. Then I was like hmmm... what to do with the back so I "attempted" to 2 strand twists, I say attempted because they did indeed look a mess lol. I twisted on dry hair with no product except for the gel from the previous day lol

I'm surprised they're even still holding. Then yesterday I went in to Aveda and applied some of the Brilliant Humectant Pomade on a few in the front. There was NO hold at all. Shine was amazing though lol. So this morning I untwisted the bang and it was so cute. For some reason I forgot to get pics. I retwisted them with my KCKT & KCCC applied to each (I love love LOVE the smell and consistency of that by the way). They were soft, shiny, bouncy, and had great hold all day long today, I just can't stop touching them lol. But yeah thats enough explanation, here's pics...

@Nubie-

at snapping your head off. I feel the same way tho. The back of my head and the middle front & crown give me the most trouble. The middle is such a looser curl pattern that it doesn't seem to like staying in flat twists. Still trying to figure it out scratch
