Good Morning Rose! Haven't been thru in awhile.
I feel you on wanting to try something new, I'm ready for some new products but I have no idea what to try. I did order some Giovanni Direct Leave in though.
What kind of dye did you use in your hair??

Hello ladies,

So I went to whole foods yesterday and bought some Giovanni SAS and direct leave in. I am not sure on how to use these products so I need someone to chime in. I had been using HETT and HEHH for about a month and I love the results, but I wanted a change of product.
Here is what I did, I co washed with the SAS and let it sit for about 10 min, rinsed it and then applied it and the DLI to my hair as a leave in. Dont know if that was a good idea but I was not thrilled with the results. This morning I spritzed with just water and applied the direct leave in only, I will be back later to let ou know how it dries. If anyone have suggestions with this product please chime in.

I am not sure how long you were around the BNB but SAS was my bad experience because I left it in and found out the hard way I am protein sensitive. Now to just use and rinse out, it's Awesome! I have the direct leave in and haven't used it enough to give a thorough review, but I had NO complaints when I did use it. I am sure the other Giovanni fans will chime in. Also check out the products thread, I am sure there is something there. HTH

Hi Rose...

I've been MIA over here, so I thought I would drop by and say hi!! **waving** I bought some Giovanni products months ago, but took them back to Whole Foods so I'm not much help!!

How is your hair coming along...how much growth have you had in the last month? Can I see.... RoseBud's Curl Street Journal - Page 16 Icon_smile

@ KNH, hey thanks for stopping thru. I want this to work so bad, I might give it one more day. If I do not like the results, I think i am going to take it back. BTW here is my latest pic.

No I haven't tried the direct leave-in yet. But it is on my conditioners to try list. The only ones by Giovanni I've tried so far are the SAS, the tea tree conditioner which I like because you get a tingling feeling. Bu I did not like the 50/50 conditoner because it just sat on my hair and did not absorb at all.

Hey Rose...

I really, really like the Giovanni SAS. I use it to detangle. I don't think I'd like it as a leave-in....it's so rich (think) and I'm protein sensitive.

I have the Giovanni DLI but haven't used it as a leave in just yet, so I cannot offer any assistance there.

Good luck.

Hey Rosebud! RoseBud's Curl Street Journal - Page 16 Icon_smile

I've used the Giovanni SAS as a deep conditioner for a few weeks now, and I love it. I love it even MORE now that I'm mixing it with honey and coconut oil. The moisture and SHINE is CRAZY! Add some peppermint and rosemary essential oils?? LOVE. RoseBud's Curl Street Journal - Page 16 Herz
