Re: RoseBud's Curl Street Journal
HE HH does have a cone. It is water soluble one if I am not mistaken.
Here is my take on the CG method. Try it for at least three weeks to see if you feel and/or see a difference. The best way to do this is to record how your hair feels every few days. You can track how moisturized it feels, how long it took to dry, if you experienced a dry or itchy scalp.
As far as using -cones for a curly look, it is up to you. If you have them and they work for you, do what works for you. If they do not work, reconsider using products with -cones. Like someone else mentioned -cones can end in -cone, -conol, and -xane. I think the best thing for curly hair, and many agree, is moisture and protein. Finding the right balance does take time.

Re: RoseBud's Curl Street Journal
What is this feeling, I bought suave almond and shea because I have heard so many great reviews and my head feels tight and itchy . I co-washed with it and then applied it as a leave in and man, I had to go wash my hair. What is in this stuff? I am going to compare ingredience with HEHH because I do not get this feeling from it.

Re: RoseBud's Curl Street Journal
Ewwww I am happy you washed it out. I will be back to find out what was in it!
Re: RoseBud's Curl Street Journal
I'm baaack. Ok so i compared the two and suave has a silicone it called cyclopentasiloxane that HEHH does not have. i dont think that is giving me this itchy feeling so let me keep looking. HMMM something called behentrimonium chloride, i said to my self chloride? let me look this up. the first thing i saw was house hold cleaners, o lord what did I just put in my hair?
Behentrimonium chloride, also known as docosyltrimethylammonium chloride or BTAC-228, is an irritating, toxic, and slightly flammable yellow waxlike organic compound with chemical formula CH3(CH2)21N(Cl)(CH3)3 , used as an antistatic agent and a disinfectant. It is commonly found in cosmetics such as conditioners, hair dye, and mousse, and also in detergents. In water treatment, it acts as an algaecide
Do you guys see irritating and toxic used as a disinfectant? And look where it is commonly found. I dont know about this product.

I read it, and it sounds great but my question is since I have color already, will it change what I have?

Probably, it would make it darker. Since my hair is already dyed blue-black that part didn't bother me.
However, she also has a link on her blog that provides information about what kind of tea to use if you do have color.
