Hey Rosebud! Just dropping by to say hello! I have no input on Giovanni SAS. I picked up some samples of it from Whole Foods and only used it but didn't notice anything too serious. I'd like to try it again some time soon. Keep us posted on your results!

Howdy Neighbor!!

I love the DLI. I use it on freshy washed hair before styling or as a moisturizer for my twists or fro and in my home made moisturizing spray.

@lynnie do you add the coconut oil to your bottle or put it on after using the DLI

Hi Rose...

I felt the same, but I only tried the product only once. Did you use it more than once?

Hey Rose. I hated Giovanni when I first tried them too. But I held on to them just in case. I have the 50/50 shampoo and SAS conditioner. Well, after a month and a half of just co-washing I used the shampoo (2nd time) and before rinsing it out I applied HEHH and began to co-wash. Didn't feel stripped at all like the first time. As for the SAS, I DC'ed my daughter's hair with it overnight and have not head any breakage issues since. Plus her hair was really soft afterwards. I haven't tried the SAS on myself, but I will this weekend.

Hey Rose! I really like the Giovanni SAS as a deep conditioner, also. I'm not really a fan of the DLI. It's kinda drying for me. I've just used SAS for a couple of washes, and the results were pretty good.

Gotta love trial and error...it's neverending!

I hear that!! As enticing as it is to try something new, I'm such a fan of not rocking the boat. If it ain't broke....

Let us know how it goes with the YTC condish. I keep hearing such great things about it.

Hey Rose just checking in on you. I'm sorry the Giovanni didn't work out for you. I'm still debating on the Direct Leave In. I keep staring at the box and end up walking away from it lol. But do report back on what you think about the YTC condish.

Hey Rosey, long time no see lol! I see that you're having issues with Giovanni Direct too. As a relaxed head I loved it and I still use it on my baby, but I'm not sure about using it on my hair...doesn't really seem to do anything. Anyway, good luck with YTC. Did you get the AO White Camellia?

ok so here it is. i co-washed with YTC last night and it felt like something I have never felt before, it was so smooth, and soft. It had my hair feeling won-der-ful. When I woke up this morning I spritzed with water and reapplied it with Aubreys white camellia. The smell was horrible, when I got to work i get a paper towel and toewl washed my hair. I wish I could have put my head in the sink! yes it was that bad.

So a thumbs up to YTC, and a thumbs down to AWC (smell).

I also bought the YTC but it was after I had already done my hair yesterday so I can't wait to try it this weekend when I do my hair again. Try the White Camellia as a deep conditioner instead of leaving it in. I never left it in so I wasn't bothered by the smell but its a great detangler.

I finally used the Yes to Cucumbers and I can say that this will become a staple. Love it and it was really detangling.

Its sunday and i am here drinking a glass of Moscato and listen to some music. The weather here is chicago was nice today, but tomorrow is another story. Yesterday I used my Aubrey white camellia and I liked it this time around. It had my hair defined and soft.

This mornign co washed with YTC, and used my HETT and it was defined with a crunch. RoseBud's Curl Street Journal - Page 17 Icon_mad Sundays are usually my trial day with products so let me go and see what else I can muster up.
