Hair Plans for the weekend... Empty Hair Plans for the weekend...

Post by *CurlyNikki* 7th November 2009, 3:10 pm

I plan to henna...for the first time in more than a month! I'm so friggin' lazy...but I'm gonna do it this time Smile I'm on my way to the store to pick up some Totally Twisted, and a bottle of Garnier Triple Nutrition...I want to see how it does as a leave-in.

I'm going to mix up the henna and apply it around 7.

What are your hair plans for the weekend?

Hey Nikki,,,,I love that "Garnier Fructis" Triple Nutrition, I use that entire line. Well I will be throwing my hair up in a wild pony tail today. I have to cater a baby shower which I am just finishing up my cooking on. I plan to straighten it later this evening because I have a interview Monday and I'm not sure how my current style will be received. Good luck on your henna treatment.

You told me to order Jamila 2009 and Indigo.
How much 100g,,etc.. and do I mix both together and then add the tea, honey etc?

I plan to cowash with Oyin Honey Hemp and go today but tomorrow is hair day. My daughter and I will probably do an Aphogee 2 min treatment then follow with their moisturizing treatment. I am scanning for protective styles for us to do after to wear through Wednesday!

Are you wanting brown or black?

If you want black, you need to do a two step treatment...henna first (4 hours), then indigo. With brown, you do it all in one step. I've never used indigo, so I have no personal experiences to share.

Check out these links:

Easy black: http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/gwyn.html

Easy Brown: http://www.hennaforhair.com/mixes/katharineg/

I used 200g...so you can judge from there...whether or not you think you'll need more than 100g.

Nik is it necessary for me to use Indigo or can I just use the Jamila?

My hair is very dark naturally...henna darkens after each treatment. In doors my hair is a very rich, shiny, black. Outdoors its still dark, but glows auburn. If your hair is noticeably brown, with henna, it will be noticeably auburn. If you don't mind the red, then Jamila is all you need Smile

Okay, I have secured the new conditioner Smile My PJ is happy!!!

I read some reviews on naturallycurly and everyone is really digging the Triple Nutrition. The ingredients look decent, and the consistency is about the same as Sleek and Shine.

Around 7, I plan to mix up my henna, detanlge this nest on my head, apply, and sleep in it. Tomorrow morn, I"ll rinse, DT, and style with the TN!

later Smile

On sunday I'm going to rock my 2nd day braid out and then at night, I will attempt to flat twist my hair. If it works out well, I will wear a flat twist out on Monday and deep condish monday night, and if it doesnt work out I will just wash my hair in the morning and try to throw it in a bun.

I tried that riight after I used HH and I think if I would have discovered it before HH then it would be #1 for me but I am so in love with HH. I told a client today that she should try it on her hair. Was that wrong? Should I have pushed one of the salon's lines?

I really liked the consistency of Triple Nutrition. I can't rate it yet...my hair is still wet. But if it holds/moisturizes as good as it feels going on, I'm sold!

Excuse the clothes in the background. I was at my mom's for the weekend and yes I take that many outfits.

I rinsed at 10:30 pm and applied an oilve oil pak because I wasn't at home and didn't have any HH.

I need reup on my Henna. I've been sticking with Karishma but I think I may give another type of Henna a try just to see if theres any difference.
