Very cute!

Nothing much going on..I'm still wearing my puff! It's so simple to do every morning! Spray my edges with water, slick it back with some gel, slide on my homemade hair scrunchie and go!

I plan on doing a deep condition treatment tonight with MHC Olive You, and flat-twist set. I might be hanging out tomorrow night! ; )

Oh, it's not that fancy! LOL! I cut off the top of a knee-hi. Put it around my head starting at my forehead and slide it back.

So on Friday....

I washed my scalp with MHC OliveYou scalp cleaner
Co-washed with Bead Head's Moisture Maniac
Applied HEHH as a leave-in
Then sealed moisture with EVOO

Two-Strand Twisted my hair
Sat under hooded dryer for 20-30 min.
Rolled up a satin scarf and tied in around the ends of my hair...(to keep it from sticking up)
Placed a satin bonnet on

In the morning...randomly styled twists with pins! and this is what I got!

I'm still doing an up do but on mini twist...I'm not sure if I like them....

So on Wednesday, I co-washed my hair and put it in mini-twist. It's Friday, and my scalp is itching!! I really want to try and keep the twist in for 4 weeks. I'm going to wash my scalp with the MHC Olive You scalp cleanser and I'll see how the twist hold up.

Thank you Shea and Lynnie...but I don't think mini twist are for me. My scalp was itching so bad, I had to clean my scalp and that was the end of them. They got frizzy and came unloose!! So I took them out! I think it's because I was sweating on Friday, it was pretty warm outside on Friday and I decided run my errands on foot! LOL!! I'll try them again in the Winter......

So my pre-teen daughter recently completed her transition from Relaxed (it was suppose to be a texturizer) to Natural. She loves her curls, she is the only "ethnic" girl in her school with natural hair. We have been dying to try KCCC so we experimented this weekend....



Saturday, the day we applied the Knot today and the Curling Custard..hair curls were so cute and defined...but the next morning . The roots were so frizzy and looked matted, I guess she was sweating in her sleep! So I spritz her hair with water and two-strand twisted her hair up for the week.

This weekend I will apply KCCC again but coil her strands to keep her roots from matting!!

For my hair, I decided to wear protective styles majority of the time. I noticed my ends are splitting and my hair gets very dry when I wear it out. So my hair is in med size twists and pinned up in the front and sides. I will probably wear a twist out on Friday, wash, DC, then retwist!

Thank you!! Yes, I've noticed the same with my hair! My daughter always wears two-strand twist because it easy in the mornings! Her hair is growing like weeds! Her hair is longer than it's ever been.
