I haven’t written a journal entry in so long so I’ll just jump in with what’s going on with my hair today. The air in my apartment is so dry today that it’s drying out my hair and skin. I have not taking down my flat twist set from last night fearing that it would become drier. I applied some HEHH and sealed it with some jojoba oil and placed a clear conditioning cap on my head. But I went out like this Hair Growth Challenge!! - Starting Oct. 1 ( or sometime this weekend) till April 1, 2011 03210

This is my flat-twist set Hair Growth Challenge!! - Starting Oct. 1 ( or sometime this weekend) till April 1, 2011 00610.

· I clarified my hair with Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo, (I haven’t used this in months, I usually co-wash but my hair felt like it had product build up)

· Co-washed with Matrix Biolage (trying to use up some products to make room for new ones that I am anxious to try)

· Deep conditioned with Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose

· Cold rinsed

· Applied Herbal Essences Totally Twisted as a leave in

· Sealed in moisture with EVOO

· Applied Aloe Vera as a styler

So I'm not doing much with my hair today, it's in my flat-twist set and covered with my beanie. BUT I mixed my Henna today to apply before bedtime!

This is my 2nd Henna application, with the first attempt my hair turned a deep shade of brown. I would like to acheive a more red undertone so I am trying it with Cinnamon.
