WHERE DO I BUY UNREFINED SHEA BUTEER?!!!!

Hey curlies! Ok I live in Houston and I was wondering if any of you know a place where i can buy unrefined shea butter. I'm skeptical about buying things online (i had a bad experince once lol), so if any of you know of a beauty supply store who sells it please let me know! Maybe its sold somewhere in 3rd ward or off Aldine Mail Route? idk!

Thought I'd share, I buy mine from www.nubianremedies.com. If you click on shop wholesale you can get 5lbs for $22. Good Stuff!

My co-worker bought some from Regga Badoega on Almeda right next door to the Reggae Hut which is on 4814 Almeda. I couldn't find the phone number, but my co-worker said she paid $15 for a nice size jar. The price range was between $5 and $15.

I got some from Whole Foods last week...it couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 dollars.

If you are still looking to buy organic shea butter you should be able to find it at your local Walgreens. It comes in a variety of sizes and is produced by a company called "The Organic Shea Butter Company".

I have also been looking to find Shea Butter to buy locally. It is one of Silky Cosmetics' key ingredients in our Whipped Sugar Polish/Scrub and we ran out while making a new batch for the Houston Black Expo this weekend at the George R. Brown Convenion Center. We needed it in a large quantity and were able to eventually find it but if you need to purchase it as a consumer then then check out Walgreens. I hope this helped.
