Aloe Vera Gel vs. Aloe Vera Geal Whole Leaf

Hey ladies,

So I am going to be trying some aloe grow mix for my hair to control itchies and promote hair growth but when searching I came across two kinds of gel. Does anyone know the difference between Aloe Vera Gel and Aloe Vera Gel Whole Leaf? Thanks for your help!

IMO, whole leaf aloe vera is cutting the gel pack straight from an aloe vera plant and applying. Most bottles of aloe vera gel (including food grade) have some sort of preservative and in some cases, a thickener added (whole aloe vera gel has the consistency of snot). Some bottled gels will also say whole leaf, but there is still some sort of preservative added. I could be wrong though...
