First make sure it's dandruff and not product build up. Try using a sulfate or clarifying shampoo to wash your hair/scalp (pre-poo first). That happened to me when I was using products with lots of silicone that were causing build up.

eucalyptus essential oil helps with dandruff and itching. Just add a dime-size to your shampoo while shampooing. It works wonders.

I have tried every natural organic shampoo on the market but the only thing that seems to work for me is Neutrogena T-Gel Stubborn Itch Control Shampoo. I follow the steps exactly as listed on the shampoo. Then, before putting in my leave in conditioner, I pour a little bit of Carol's Daughter Lisa's Hair Elixir on my fingertips and massage into my scalp.. . .and I normally don't have any more issues with a dry scalp until my next wash day (I wash my hair weekly). I really like Giovanni Tea Tree Shampoo. I had a slight dandruff problem when I was relaxed. Once I BC'd I switched shampoos and this stuff really clarifies the hair and I haven't had a single flake since August (when I started using shampoo again). Give that a try and see if you like it:)

I have always had really BAD dandruff problems until now. As a child, my grandmother took me from one cousin's house to the next trying to solve my dandruff issues.

Once I stopped using sulfate shampoos and stopped greasing my scalp with mineral oil based products there was an improvement. But apple cidar vinegar rinses really changed my life. No more itching and no more dandruff!
