QUESTION: Heat Protectant?
I'm well aware that heat protectant is a great tool and almost necessary when naturals(or non-naturals for that matter) use direct heat such as blow drying and/or flat ironing.
My question is:
Is a heat protectant needed when doing rods sets, curlers, or curlformers and sitting under a hooded dryer? If so, what type of heat protectants do you suggest? I always viewed hooded dryers as non-direct heat...but maybe my tresses still need some protection anyway??? Don't want to use cones if it isn't necessary...
Let me know what you think!
Thanks in advance!

Re: QUESTION: Heat Protectant?
Good question.
In all curling videos (rollersets, flexi-rod sets, etc) I have watched I always hear them say "I'm going to use this heat protectant just in case I get under the dryer", so I would probably go a head and use one. Hopefully someone else can chime in!
I love your avatar by the way!! Your beautiful and so is your hair!

Thanks for your response! Sounds like it's better safe than sorry! Hope some others chime in too! I want to know opinions of what the best heat protectant to purchase would be as well!
