Is it worth the damage to my ends Empty Is it worth the damage to my ends

Post by luving me 24th December 2009, 8:37 pm

Hello everyone, I'm currently 15 wks post relaxer and I'm transitioning to natural. Since the weather is cool [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I can rock twistouts, rod-sets, flat-ironed hair. However by next summer I'm gonna be deep in my transition and since I live in Houston I'm planning to bun all summer. I can do a few different buns, however my favorite bun is the sock bun, I would like to wear it 3x a week, but it can dry out my ends. Since I plan to cut all my relaxed ends off next winter I'm wondering if I should be concerned about my ends??? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I know that split ends can travel up the shaft, but how far could they travel from June to Dec??? Sorry so long and thanks for all replies.

I like to keep my ends oil and protected at the ends so keep them up high and moist. but if you have split ends get rid of them to keep hair nice and happy.

Thank you. I'll try using extra coconut oil on them when bunning.
