Thanks Freestyles and LilMsPuddles!

@adiaha: Thanks! I think Wii Fit is so much fun. And I need to have fun in order to be motivated to work out. The Gold's Gym Cardio Boxing is fun AND you work up a nice sweat. I have EA Sports too, but I don't like it that much.

@Lynnieluve: Thank you! I used Eco Styler gel and Qhemet's Burdock Root Butter Cream. They've mostly been covered up with beanies, so that probably helped them last longer too.

@Chrs: Thanks! No big deal about the brahmi. I'm sure it'd make a difference if I used it consistently. Even though the brahmi was super cheap, I still don't want to waste it. I notice that you do a lot with teas. Can I make one big batch of tea with the brahmi and use it as like a spray leave-in or something?

Yes, you can make a tea from it. Unfortunately, I do not have any experience making teas with any of the ayurvedic powders. You could purchase tea bags and fill them with the powder. Make a strong tea with a 2:1 or more.

You could also put the filled tea in a carrier oil (your favorite)--with the exception of the lighter oils like grapeseed and sweet almond. I think the lighter oils would not yield a good infused oil. From what I have read, you would place the oil in a dark place or in a dark container and let it steep at least three weeks. You could then add the oils to your conditioners and stylers and/or for hot oil treatments.

I am glad your coils lasted so long. I am sure mine would have too if I was just patient!! I never got to the coil out look I imagined in my head, so I co-washed and my niece twisted it.

Hmmm...I think I'll do this! It seems like little effort would be required on my part and I like the idea of using the oil as a treatment or in conditioners. Do you think I need some sort of preservative? I think I'll do it with olive oil. Thanks so much for the suggestion!!!!!

My coil out didn't look like I thought it would either. No Since my hair is very coily on its own, I'll just do a wash n go when I want that look because it requires a lot less effort.

Today I decided to try the coil out. It took me 20 minutes to uncoil them, and in the process some of them got tangled. Two more reasons why I won't do this style again.

I didn't like the results, so I didn't even bother to take a pic. I just put on a beanie and went out to run some errands. I think the beanie is going to be my best friend this winter. I got this one from Forever 21 for $3.

I'll pre-poo tonight with oil and wash my hair tomorrow. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I'll probably go back to twists.

I do not think you will need a preservative with the powder and oil mix.

I heard Forever 21 has great deals. You snatched one up. I have to check them out for accessories 'cause I am way past 21 LOL.

I avoided them for the EXACT same reason. But they definitely have some accessories for us 30-somethings. I bet they even marked stuff down after Christmas, but I'm not going back in there...too tempting.

Sorry you didnt like your coil out but I like your beanie, I wish I could wear hats at work for bad hair days but the best I'll be able to get away with is a wide headband. I can still get a beanie for school and clinicals.

I debated between the Wii Fit and the EA Sports Active but based on the reviews decided on the Fit. Now I want some more, I'm gonna try the Gold Gym (although Im not really a boxing fan but my BF and son would enjoy it) and Ive read good reviews about the Biggest Loser Wii game.

Thanks for the compliments on the beanie ladies! They had a variety of colors. Not tryna make anyone go out and buy one...but they are only $3. Razz The other beanie I got was $6. Not everything in Forever 21 is for those of us well over 21, but you can find a few things.

Wii Fit is soooooo much more fun than EA, which is why I don't really like it. I bought Wii Fit Plus yesterday. I really like that you can customize and they have some fun new workout games. I think the Biggest Loser is on sale at Target. The Cardio Boxing one is not straight boxing so the boys may not like it. My nephews really like the boxing on Wii Sports. They only do the Gold's Gym one because they see me doing it.

Today I did a WnG puff. I co-washed with Suave Naturals Coconut and detangled with HETT. I used Samy's Curl Creme as a leave-in and scrunched in some HETT mousse.

**traveljunkie08** - Page 3 Gedc0712

**traveljunkie08** - Page 3 Gedc0713

I Jermaine Jackson'd my edges when slicking my hair back with gel, so I'll have to remember not to be so heavy handed next time.

In other news, I'm on a personal no buy challenge. Shocked I will still experiment with different products, but I will not "stock up". I just won't. Sale or no sale, good deal or not, if I don't need it, I'm not buying it.

I kinda have my products in categories (leave-ins, stylers, DC, co-wash conditioners) and I won't buy a new product until there's only one left in the category. I'm just going to make that an ongoing rule so I'll never (hopefully) have more than 1 or 2 products in any category.
