Looks really nice!
I'm trying to stretch my twist out after a work out too.
I'm also trying to keep the hair obsession in check.
I noticed I was spending WAAAAYYY to much time on Youtube and CN.
As always your hair looks healthy and beautiful.

I end up retwisting on day 3 of my twist out if I am trying to stretch it.

I like the BKO (revived rollerset). My hair obsession will slow down next week. I am going to start studying for my CPA exam. I will not allow myself to visit hair sites until I have completed 2 hrs of studying first.
Sometimes you get on here and can't get off, LOL!

Good luck with your exam! I have my pharmacy school exams next week. I too will try the hair sites only every 2 hrs challenge. Lol It's gonna be hard. Curly Nikki is just as addicting as Facebook. Lol.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
this looks really good and I had to stop by and thank you for your kind words. I will check on you because we will get through this. I am going to join a gym too. I need to get rid of some of this frustration.traveljunkie08 wrote:Last night, I decided to try to revive my rollerset b/c it was starting to look a little rough after working out and hot, steamy showers. I used Qhemet's BRBC (which instantly softened my hair) and did a bantu knot/pin curl-thingy. Turned out pretty well. Here are a few pics.
I think next week I'll do WnGs all week.

Good luck on your exam, Sorors!!!! That sounds like a good plan (studying, then checking out CN). It's so easy to be on here for two hours and not even realize that much time has passed.

Thanks! Working out definitely helps burn off negative energy. It also sets the stage for victory should you accidently bump into your ex. I'm not mad or angry w/ my ex and I'm not even upset about the break-up anymore, but I do use the fact that I may run into him as motivation.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
Thanks for the compliments, ladies!!!! I really appreciate them.
I'm pleased to report that all of my hair fits into one ponytail!!!!!!!! I hope this means it'll fit into one ponytail (with no random pieces sticking out) once it's back in its naturally coily state.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
Thanks, IB!
Well, today kicks off a week of wash n gos. I used koils by nature gel for curl definition and hold. This is my first time using it. It's only about 75% dry, but here's how it looks so far.
I had to lighten the images because they were really dark for some reason. Anyway, I hope I can get several days out of this wash n go like Sweet has been able to do! Stay tuned...

WOW!! that looks great!!! You can make it last, just spritz and shake. Have you seen MC video on how to stretch a WnG? watch this
Re: **traveljunkie08**
I love the way your curls clumped together. MC technique worked well for me when I first BC'd.

Your Wash and Go is GORGEOUS! Your hair looks so healthy and full!
I want to try a wash and go soon, but I'm not sure if the top of my hair will do right b/c it's not as curly as the back of my hair.

Thanks! All you can do is try and go from there. Although this WnG looked good, I'm still trying to get it "perfect".

Thanks, ladies! I tried to spritz and shake. It looks frizzy and flat. If I was going somewhere, I probably would have re-wet my whole head instea of just spritzing. I'll keep trying though.

Thanks! The top of my hair is much looser than the rest, but this time it managed to curl/wave up pretty well. I did the "rake and smooth" method.

Re: **traveljunkie08**
Nothing noteworthy going on with my hair today. Not a lot of success trying to revive my WnG. I think my coils clumped too much.
I mentioned before that I wanted to go to Haiti to volunteer. Well, an org accepted my volunteer application today. I'd be stationed outside of Leogane (sp?), which was pretty much the epicenter of the earthquake. They give you the full rundown on warnings, so that makes me quite nervous, but I still think I'm going to do it. I'll be looking into travel arrangements, etc. this week.
What in the world would I do with my hair for the two weeks I'd be there?!?!?!?!
