Moisturizer For When Your Hair Is Straight

Okay, so I recently got a "Dominican blowout." I also got a mini-chop I guess you can say since three and a half inches were cut. Anywho, I need a moisturizer for my hair since it's straight and not curly. I have Darcy's Shea Butter moisturizer, but that will just make my hair curl up. She recommended me get some My Honey Child product, but that stuff is too high for my college student pockets. So does anyone have any recommendations that can be used on straightened hair?

I used coconut oil on my hair when I straightened it.

I had a really hard time finding something for my hair before I started transitioning, so when I went for my last relaxer, I asked my stylist what she used. It's worked out really well for me--I actually used it last night on all of my hair for my re-braidout (on semi dry/damp hair), and my hair is SO grateful. lol The last braidout I did (on wet hair) resulted in really dry looking hair.

Proclaim Olive Moisturizing Creme - You can get it in most BSS or at Sallys. And it smells diving...lol

When I get mine flat ironed I usually just use jojoba oil. It's about $7 at Trader Joe's & lasts forever because you don't need much.

Ditto coconut oil. It has moisturizing properties and makes your hair shine!!
