TWIST OUT REGIMEN
Ok ,I know this question has been asked many times. Shoot I may have been the one that asked it. But some how I missed the answer. What is your nightime regimen for twistouts? Do you reapply products or just retwist? I love my twistouts and Ive tried both ways but when I don't reapply my product I don't like the results. I'm currently using ORS olive oil moisturizing lotion, ORS lock & twist gel, and EVOO on my ends. But if I don't do this every night, I don't get good results the next day. My hair is dry so I need the thick moisturizer. Is that normal or to much. My hair is now to my ears on the sides, my eyebrows in front, and my shoulders in the back so I don't have to do as many twists as I use to . I'm still not able to do to many styles because I'm thin in the top and also my hair in the top is a different texture so it is straighter than the back, that drives me crazy cuz it will frizz if I mess with it to much ,then I just end up putting on a headband which is most of the time. Can someone help a sister out?

What I do is chunky twists. At night I will wet my hands- emulsify my product, apply it to my hair and do about 6-8 twists.
Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
Thanks Nylacoils- When you say emulsify your products do you mean the products already in your hair or are you adding products ?

I add products in the night time and when I am removing. Not sure if the video made that clear or not.

Thanks again NylaCoils, Loved the video. Your hair has really grown. i'll be glad when mine will hang like that. Let me correct myself on my hair lenghth. The front is to my nose ,not my eyebrows.

Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
When I do my twist outs I twist nightly & I usually use a product every other night I have about 4 in of hair so they are short but thats what my routine is I also apply a oil vatakia evoo or I have been using Qhemets AOHC That has worked wonders but if you have it dont be to heavy handed with it because it can make your hair very oily
Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
Thanks sebastain 13. Where do you buy the vatakia oil? My hair likes evoo so I use it daily.

Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
When I do my twistouts I have to re-twist every night to maintain the style and I do add product every time. My hair stays dry so I need to moisturize a lot, but depending on how my hair feels, I adjust the amount of product that I use. I tend to use a lot the first 2 nights, and then less and less as my hair then starts to retain the moisture and is not as dry.

I just apply product when re-twisting nightly.

Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
I just retwist my hair in big twists. If my ends feel dry, I will spritz [the ends only] with water, moisturize with my leave-in, and seal with coconut oil or shea butter. So I am only applying product to my ends.

Re: TWIST OUT REGIMEN
I love twist outs but hate to retwist every night. I just tried the pineappling method on my twa and it really did work. I had about 15 pineapples and it only took about seven mins to put in and seven mins to take out and shape. I applied coconut oil to my hands so that I didn't cause more frizz. Btw my hair is about 4 in at the top and 3 in on the sides and back.
