So I was just wondering how long to let this brand sit for dye release. Im mixing with coconut milk. Oh yea, I bought it locally this is the box. This is the right one, right? Don't want a knock off or somethin...

I've used that kind before. I let it sit overnight, so for about 8 or 9 hours (or more).

Yes I did. I started off using this brand and now I use Jamila. I really don't notice a big difference between the two except that the Jamila may be slightly better sifted.

In my experience with dulhan, I noticed it gives more of a brassy almost orange color. Jamila is definitely redder.

Yes, I do get a redder color with Jamila. But my daughter for some reason gets the brassy color with Jamila also. It did darken up over a few days though.

I use this brand when I am out of Jamila. I let it dye release overnight. I didn't see much color difference, but it seems like the shine is better with the Jamila.

I really liked my results! I am definately going to start using henna on the regular. My hair feels so strange, like coarser and strong but soft all at the same time. Kinda weird but I love it. The color is subtle but pretty. The dye released after 3 hrs though...idk. I put it on and left it in for 4 hrs. It was not messy, or drying. It was easy to rinse. I really liked it. I think maybe I shoulda let it sit longer though and maybe I woulda got better color? I have some Jamila coming in the mail so I'll do a comparison next time I henna . If i like it as much or better then ill probably alternate since this one is cheaper. Henna is AMAZING though. Luv it! run
