Honey for acne and acne scars

This may have been discussed already but for those who are dealing with breakouts and the remaining scarring I had to share about raw organic honey masks. There's a lot of info about it on the internet acne.org sold me on because I read so many great reviews for it and I already had it in my cabinet. Some people use it as a face wash. I've been usin it for 4 days as a mask. I wash then apply a even layer of honey on my face and let it sit for 30 mins to an hour. It stopped the breakouts that were starting to form and my scars that were very dark are about 50% lighter and my complexion looks brighter and healthier. I was using a honey from Whole Foods and I just started on "Raw Manuka Honey" that I purchased at vitamin shoppe. Manuka honey is supposed to be even more effective. Good luck.

yea, i've been searching for a more natural 'fade' cream and i recently read about this on acne.org. i'll be heading to vitamin shoppe to purchase soon. the post indicated that raw manuka honey works best.

Honey doesn't really help with scars and I am not sure if it is strong enough to kill the bacteria that causes acne.

Try a three step regime of products and use pure vitamin e on scars at bed time.

Never squeeze acne and be sure to fight it hard in the AM and before bed in the PM for best results.

Honey is best for your skin. Helps cleanse the skin, giving a shiny appearance and the costs of preventing the formation of pimples, blackheads and pimples. It is also good for the prevention of premature wrinkles. It can be used alone or mixed with 4-5 drops of fresh lemon juice. Otherwise, add a few drops of almond oil and honey. In each case, make a paste and apply on the skin for 20 minutes. For best results repeat once or twice a weak.
