Re: Leaving Aubrey in?
I tried it with dry hair and I don't advise it, it doesn't spread easy throughout the hair.
Aubrey Organics HR as Leave In
Yes, I have used it with my WnGs this summer. I'd use it under my Eco Styler clear gel for moisture. I love thick, rich creamy conditioners for my medium textured strands.
Re: Leaving Aubrey in?
Interesting...how much did you leave-in? Did you even get flakes or a white cast? I left some on my ends last night, and my hair feels great!

I leave AO in (whichever condish of theirs I am using from my arsenal) when I am doing a wet bun and feel like my hair can stand an extra dose of moisture. Doing it this way doesn't require extra work on my lazy behalf. There are no flakes when I take my hair from the bun.

I use it as a leave in as well. I love it as far as the way my hair feels. But I need more to control my frizz. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I left in about a palm full in four sections of my hair. My hair needs more moisture in the back and near my ears.

I use it as a moisturizer and sometimes a leave-in, this is the best product ever.

it seems that none of the AO products, save the Island Naturals is moistursing enough for me to use as a rinse-out conditioner. I always use them as a leave-in --- plus most of them smell yummy and I hate to waste product.. I apply a silver dollar size amount to my hair in 6 sections

Re: Leaving Aubrey in?
@ raina, I have tried olive oil and other oils. They all seem to just sit on my hair and when I touch my hair, it is greasy. It may be because I am transistioning. However, I recently found that leaving in HE hydaclious (spell check) has worked in eliminating frizz. I can have 4 or 5 day hair now. But that doesn't have all natural ingredients, so I am still on the search.

Re: Leaving Aubrey in?
I do! AOWC in these days and I will go back to AOHSR soon. you can see my styling w/AOWC in the lush henna bar thread in the henna section- after hennaing and a deep treatment with AOWC I also styled with it. Because its so cold over here i was left with some frizzy parts in the back (this is why I`ll use the HSR the next time). I use an amount which fits in the cap of the bottle on each side, because my hair is thin and fine and easily weighed down. I am still experimenting with the right amount, with the cold outside my hair tends to be drier than usual...
edit: unfortunately it happend (again) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ...build up after using AOHSR as a leave in. This usually works out really good one or two times, then the build up begins. Now my hair is limp and lifeless (no pics here... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]) and I am off to get my secret weapon II ( this is if rhassoul clarifiying is not enough) -taliah waajid stimulating herbal cleanser.*sigh*, today I feel like just cutting it of (especially when I see all the gorgeous TWA pics...
edit II: rhassoul clarifiying works best for me when I have cone build up. TW stimulating herbal cleanser works best if I have greasy bils up (does not contain SLS, as far as I know)
