thanx femme, im slowly but surely gonna try it cuz i was too tired to do my hair this morning.

Happy MONDAY!!! this is my first night and im lookin forward to gettin this out the way so i can enjoy my 4 days off (actually i took off Easter Sunday too) and im tryin to debate on what to do with my hair til i make it to my dads in fredricksburg, va. my stepmom doesnt know this yet but she WILL be cornrowing my hair into some type of style. we're suppose to be travelin to NC (spring hope near rocky mount) this wknd and i dnt know the whether expected down there but HERE its gonna be a good 80 degrees!!!

so tomorrow if i feel like it im gonna do the "works" and throw it up in my attempted poof til friday. if my poof doesnt go as planned it'll be a WNG!! im actually surprised my hair stayed moisturized as long as it has.

ok so let me get back to playin catch up on everyones bnb's! i think i subscribed to TOO many peoples and im bouncin around like a ping pong ball to keep up. if u miss one day u miss alot, lol.

im gonna have my supervisor do my monthly length check so i'll post that pic later. im waitin on my camera to charge up!

hey dva, i plan on attending the meetup and bringin my sister IF we dont go to NC. fburg is only like an hour away from dc and im straight hoppin the metro cuz i know parkin will be CRAZY this wknd. so yes hope to see u there too!!

i used erica's method for my 2strands and took em out 2 days later. i re-twisted usin kbb's hair creme and i also spritz some aloe gro EVERYDAY in the am and pm. i also think sleepin in a satin bonnet helps hold on to some moisture too vs when i loosely slept on my satin pillowcase.

Nubie I can't wait to see pics of the puff. I'm sure it going to look good. Hey and if not accessorize

Hey ladies!! i really didnt do a puff becuz for one, i dont have anything to hold it up on my big head and 2...the more i brushed it to stay in place the looser it got . so im gonna use lynn's method of gettin a pantyhose to hold it in place. i just need to perfect it to keep it tight.
@blonde, i use the aloe gro with the normal ingredients and remix it w/pooka nectar and i dont add water cuz i like it better without it.

so today i worked out twice...yes TWICE!! the 1st time was my lil walk to give my chea monet (dog) exercise and i hopped in the shower. i pre-poo'd w/oils and sprayed my scalp w/koils by nature "hair growth rinse (acv), i poo'd w/giovanni TT and it didnt lather like i wanted it to so i think i used too much cuz it felt dry soooo i partnered it w/kbb cond poo (loves it) and it felt much better. i detangled w/the new suave almond n shea condish but had to make it quick cuz i forgot i had chicken in the oven .

Since i knew i'd be running on the 2nd leg of my workout i DC'd w/kbb hair mask and went on my way. Fast fwd...3 hrs later i washed it out and decided to keep it simple cuz i had to get ready for work so i just threw in some kbb hair milk. i will twist my hair tonight usin MJ meringue to see how that works and do a twist out tomorrow.

so once again...THANX ERICA for makin me give in to my pjism AGAIN!!! i was goin back n forth on if i should take advantage of cd's free shippin on her site but the tui smoothie is sold out. i decided to go a different route n check her out on hsn.com...BINGO!!! she got even BETTER deals there so i got the tui pkg (smoothie, poo, and marguerite's magic) all full size portions for $30 and the shippin is only $2. i also went ahead n got the hair milk too!

i started to get the other set cuz it came w/the tui oil but i already wanted to try marguerite's magic so i went with that. what a deal right? Now why did i get the hair milk when i got kbb? becuz i know cd's is thicker and my hair drinks up thick anything!!

So although i love me some CN, i also check out and show love to my fellow pg county-ians; natural chica and fly blog (cant live without em) and mae decided to feature me...again!! EEEK, so i make sure i stay in touch with her every now n then and i gave her my 6 month update . she's so talented, she started doin accessories which u can check out on her blog as well cuz yall know i LOVE accessories so i GOTZ to get my hand on one!

oh yea so my length check...im dmn near inchin towards 3 inches now and if my measurements are correct by my 1st year anniversary i should be at least 6 inches!!! so i guess hair really does grow 1/2 in per month **shruggin shoulders**

Hey Nubie... You know you are wrong about the green line. No, really you are right. I don't mind driving in the city personally, do it daily for my commute, because I don't really like taking public transit. I was thinking about that for the meet up this weekend. Guess I better get my quarters ready!

Congrats on your workout. I just found out my gym membership expired but I have a bowflex treadclimer, workout DVD's, and weights so what is my excuse - Nothing! I have started today actually improving my diet...baby steps. You've inspired me, as Lynnie has w/her succcess from a 12 to 8, to not talk about it but to start being about it.

I had a slight alergic reaction to my Aloe Gro when it touched my skin (side of my face, neck) - it turned beet red almost like a welp look to it. It dissipated after about 40 minutes - but no problems with my scalp application ... weird? It felt like when perm would touch your skin.

Maybe you're allergic or sensitive to something in the mix. When you have a reaction like that it's called contact dermatitis, rinse the area with cool water and it should clear up. (yes! I learned something at school!! )

Enjoy your time off...and for 3 inches!!! You can use an ouchless band (skinny one) to do your puff. However, you will need to use gel to keep your edges smooth!!! I still say try it you might like it!!!

hey guys!! i enjoyed my day at the zoo yesterday and have plenty of pics to post. unfortunately, my allergies have taken the best of me and i been in the bed literally ALL day today . im still tryin to overcome this allergy bug cuz i hate havin to sleep wit my mouth open cuz my nose is stopped up. i feel horrible. my bonnet has been sittin on top of my head all day and i dont even have the strength to re-twist em.

i hate feelin like poo! i know im missin so much but i'll play catch up soon as im better. also, i will not be attending the dc meet up this wknd cuz im goin out of town to NC. with hustlin n grinding at work i get lost n out of touch with fam so im gonna take advantage of this trip since it only happens once a blue moon. i will surely miss my girls at the meetup . Actually the way im feelin right now i may just hibernate in my bed all wknd. EEEEK!!
