Help!!! Hand in hair syndrome!!!

I big chopped last month and every since then my hands cant stay out of my hair, I'm always touching it and twisting it and just playing in it in general...What can I do to my hair to stop this I really want my hair to grow its currently about 1.5 inches long.

first off, congrats on your bc!!! i was the same way when i bc'd, couldnt help it lol!!! you can try 2 strand twists, flat twists in the front and 2 strand twists in the back, or finger coils. enjoy the hand in the hair syndrome though, bc-ing is liberating!!! hth!!!

Congratulations on your BC!!! As for the HIH syndrome, good luck!! I've been natural almost 14 months and I still twirl my hair from time to time.

lol..good luck w/ ur hand in hair syndrome...i try not to mess w/ mine being i'm wearing a protective style and all and i want it to grow so....no hands in hair as often as i used to

I think EVERYBODY has that problem. Every woman I know who went natural did the same thing for a long time after their BC. I big chopped a year ago and I still find myself twisting and twirling my hair, especially when I have a fresh twist out

I can't promise it will get better, but at least you know you are not alone!
