Shine -Honey + ACV
You can add the honey to any of your conditioners. If you use it in a leave in, you may want to check the weather since honey is a humectant. Too much or too little moisture may cause frizz. As for ACV rinses, I mix mine with three tablespoons of ACV to two cups of cold water. Using the ACV and cold water will close the cuticles resulting in shine. I do not rinse it out so it is the last step before styling. It will smell but the smell will go away.HumanNature wrote:Since my goal is to maintain curls (esp. for wash -n- go styles) I have been reading up on how to do this organically. I read that ACV + honey rinse is good for shine and maintaing curls. I'm just confused??? Not sure if I should leave the rinse in, mix it with a store bought conditioner, or just mix it with H2O. Maybe all three are ok. Any suggestions

Wow! I was at least hoping the ACV didn't smell like plain vinergar. I was hoping for a lighter smell. Am I going to be able to deal with this smell. Me and sents do not get along. I wonder if the sun hits this smell will it get worse???

YAY ME
THANKS LADIES.
Well I'm getting in sort of late today and I just found out I won! Great way to end my day. I'm gonna get the shea butter, haven't tried it yet.
@ChrsLvsBks- I watched the video and I love the style. It seems like something I can do. If I had time I would do it for the meet up tomorrow. I'm going to go with the bantu knot out, it's something that works for me. I read your tips on the "home" page an I love that look on you so I thought I'd go for it.
