Giovanni 50-50 Clarifying Shampoo
Hello,
I am turning into somewhat of a product junkie-yikes! However, any feedback you can give on Giovanni 50-50 clarifying shampoo or any other products from that line is appreciated. I have 4a/b hair. Thanks!

I'm a 4b and I use the Govanni Direct Leave-In. In my hair it acts more like a moisturizer than a detangler compared to KCKT. After washing I usually put a half-dollar size amount in and then put a shower cap on so my hair can absorb it without drying out. After that I mini twist in and seal with a mixture of shea butter and coconut oil. Although its creamy in consistency I find that I have to reapply after two days.

Honestly, i just gave it a number. All the typing systems confuse me, but I know my hairs doesn't have a definitive curl pattern so i thougth it would be at the end of the spectrum, lol. It shrinks into really tight zig-zags and coils. My profile pic shows my hair in a twist-out, but left alone my hair would look like a TWA even though I have about 9-10 inches

I hate the 50/50 shampoo!! it strips every bit of moisture out of my hair and gives me a straw like feeling, but I do love the Giovanni direct leave in!! its a very thick leave in (my hair loves thick products) and leave my hair very moisturized

I have 4a/b fine textured hair. I have been transitioning since 9/09. These are the Giovanni Products that I use and love: I use Giovanni Smooth As Silk (SAS) Deeper Moisture Shampoo to poo, SAS Deeper Moisture Conditioner and Giovanni Nutrafix Reconstructor to DC, SAS Xtreme Protein Infusion or Direct Leave In as my leave in, I set my hair with Giovanni Natural Mousse Hair Styling Foam. I seal with (Shea Moisture Curl Smoothie NOT a Giovanni Product)

I use Giovanni Tea Tree and I really enjoy the tingling sensation. It really helps with my icthy scalp. Just be careful not to leave it in too long. It will make your hair feel like straw. Oh and I have hair that goes from 2A(heat damaged) to 4b. The majority of my hair is 4b.
